Axes & sign conventions
Choose axes along the motion — on an incline, along and perpendicular to the slope. Components stay clean.
FBD recipe: isolate the body → draw every force on it → resolve on your axes. Nothing else touches the page.
Signs: pick a positive direction once and keep it for the whole problem. g is a magnitude; its sign comes from your axes.
Pseudo-force: only in an accelerating frame — magnitude ma, direction opposite the frame's acceleration.

Mechanics

drawn in ink, alive in light

Throw a stone and read its arc. Tilt a plane, spin a wheel, let two carts collide — every bench is a page from a working notebook: construction lines in pale ink, and every live quantity glowing as it changes.

the same physics — as instruments, or as a book

Mechanics here is one subject with two doors. The Lab is the interactive side — fourteen modules of draggable benches with live readouts. The Full Book is the complete written textbook — every proof, worked example and problem, with the same benches surfaced inline. Enter either; every module header carries a ◈ ⇄ ▤ switch to flip between them.
